quick and simple.
i found several old belts that were not worth belts but fun to play with. so i ended up with a bracelet and a ring so far.
cut the belt off and punch new holes for the belt. you can sew on more beads or buttons, whatever if it's not real leather.
the ring i actually just used a scrap and measured it to length. i cut a hole where the button would go through and stitched the button in place on the bottom piece. it doesn't really unbutton but it made it easier to stitch together.
i wish it was harder than that, it might seem cooler that way.
